
Jill Dean – Practice Manager
Jill started her career in dentistry in 1991. She is both a qualified, registered dental nurse and oral health educator and holds the AMSPAR dental receptionists qualification. Jill has a great understanding of both patient and staff requirements and is committed to the running of a highly successful dental practice. She is a member of The British Association of Dental Nurses and The Dental Practice Managers Association. Jill is secretary of The British Dental Nurses Skipton Group and is currently working towards the British Dental Associations “Good Practice Scheme” for U Dentistry.

Martin Harris BDS – Dental Surgeon
Martin qualified in Newcastle in 1995. Over the last 10 years Martin has worked predominantly in private practice with a keen interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. In recent years Martin has also worked as a Dental Advisor for the Boots Company assisting in recruitment, training and quality control of private dental care. In 2005, Martin completed an aesthetic restorative course spread between the UK and Italy, also he has recently completed an advanced, surgical course in implantology.

Michaela O’Neill EDH FAETC
Dental Hygienist
Michaela O’Neill qualified from Kings College Hospital, London in 1991 and took up a staff Hygienist post there on graduation. Michaela returned to Belfast in 1998 taking up a tutors post at Queens University where she gained FAETC and is now a recognised teacher at Queens University Belfast School of Dental Hygiene where she also treats patients in a consultant clinic in addition to being involved with research projects at Queens University. Michaela remains committed to developing continuous education for Professionals Complimentary to Dentistry and increasing the profile and role of Dental Hygienists. Michaela represents Northern Ireland at national level on the British Dental Hygienists Association council and is an Honorary Member of the Irish Dental Hygienist Association.

Sally Simpson EDH FAETC DipDT RCS
Dental Hygienist
Having worked since the mid eighties in the West End of London at Specialist Periodontal, Restorative, Endodontic and Implant Clinics and at Kings College as a Registered Senior and Tutor Dental Nurse, Sally went on to specialise in the Department of Paediatric Dentistry before qualifying as a Dental Hygienist at Kings. Since 1996, Sally has worked as a Tutor Dental Hygienist at Kings College, London and the University of Manchester and practiced in NHS, Community and Private Clinics. Sally is passionate about Continuing Professional Development and recently passed the Royal College of Surgeons Diploma in Dental Therapy. Sally now speaks throughout the UK for continual educational seminars.

Rochelle Fisher – Dental Nurse
Rochelle’s interest in dentistry began in 1997 after finishing high school education. Rochelle gained her National Dental Nurses Qualification in 1999 having studied at Leeds Dental Institute. Rochelle has worked in many different areas of dentistry which include general anaesthesia, orthodontics and dental implants.

Kirsty Whitaker – Dental Nurse
Kirsty has been a dental nurse since 1994. She gained the British Dental Nurses Qualification in November 1996 followed by the Dental Radiography Certificate. Kirsty has an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. She enjoys meeting new patients and is especially gifted at making them feel at ease.

Cathy Harpin EDH DipDT
Dental Hygienist
Cathy Qualified from Leeds dental institute and has always been passionate about dentistry having trained as a dental nurse prior to becoming a hygienist. With particular interest in the preventative side of dentistry she is constantly striving towards taking her dentistry to the highest and most advanced and up-to-date levels.

David Furze - Dental Surgeon
David qualified in Cardiff in 2000 and joined the Royal Army Dental Corp for 6 years achieving the rank of Major. During this time he travelled extensively, working in Bosnia, Brunei, Germany and the UK as a Dental Officer. He was a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Surrey County Hospital, where he passed his fellowship to obtain the post graduate qualification MFDS. He is now working exclusively in private practice in Central London and Ilkley. He is a member of the International Team of Implantology and has lectured at the Royal College of Surgeons. His main interests include implantology, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He is a keen rugby player and enjoys all water sports.
